American Dream

Stop Press! After 18 months, and countless hours of home recording, self-producing, and mixing, Jim's second album, American Dream has now available world wide!

The album is available direct from Jim himself; a couple of local Adelaide based retailers; and online through FolkTrax (Australia)..., and through Jim's other online retailer, CD Baby (in the USA, and it's online resellers).

Of course, if you wish to receive a personally signed copy of the album direct from Jim himself, contact him via email (see the link in the menu bar to the left), and he will work out the details with you.

Bonus CD
Jim has recorded so much material over the past 18 months, that he has put nine extra tracks onto a CDR he is burning himself and giving away with every copy of American Dream. In effect, you get two full length albums for the price of one! 

Jim reports that he has yet to decide just how long he will continue to burn these CDRs and give away the bonus CD, so if you want the two albums, you should make your purchase as soon as possible.

Why are we providing these? We'll let Jim answer the question himself.

"Most web sites such as this, provide one or two sound files as an inducement to get people to purchase the full album. I too, originally did this, but then I remembered why it was I recorded the songs in the first place - to share them with a much wider audience than I had previously been able to reach. I immediately decided to offer every song in full, with lyrics and chord charts, via this web site to anyone who wanted them. Now my original vision is being fulfilled beyond my greatest expectations. 

You are free to copy the lyrics and save the sound files to your computer for your own personal, non-commercial use. You can even burn the sound files to a CDR for your own personal, non-commercial use. Heck, while you are at it, why not burn a CDR copy for your friends for their personal, non-commercial use as well? You are further encouraged to sing the songs anywhere and on any occasion you wish.

All I ask in return are two things: that if you are performing any of these songs, you let me know (even my ego needs a little stroking now and then); and that you remember who wrote the songs, and acknowledge this to your audience when you perform them. Love & Peace to you all."
