I haven't been goofing off, I promise!

Yes, I know it has been almost a month since my last entry on January 23, but I've actually been very productive - just not very productive on my third album.

During January, I wrote and recorded my first new song for the year, The Bitter Heart. While over the past week I have been writing and recording yet another new song, Carry Me Over. 

As John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans."

And while my plans are meant to be focused on recording a new album, I can't simply switch off my Muse, and not write and record new songs, as and when they are presented to me. At some point, I know I will start to knuckle down and get serious about Dance Like No-one is Watching. But until that happens, I will just have to negotiate the many other distractions I am faced with every day of my life.
